Like most of the CD-ROM disc drives, E-IDE was used as the interface of the LG CRD 8482B CD-ROM drive. This drive has the ability to pull off data at a speed of 48X with a maximum data transfer rate of 7200Kb\/s. It has a small CPU bandwidth (MPC specification) and uses the tray-loading mechanism. It could be mounted horizontally as well as vertically and was designed for internal mounting. This drive has a function that allows the CD to be ejected manually if this becomes necessary in an emergency, such as failure of the drive or a power outage. It also supports Windows 95 & 98 Plug-and-Play ATAPI protocol. In addition to this, easy audio CD control button support, photo CD multi-session support, and Multimedia PC MPC III compliant made this a more efficient disc drive<\/p>\n
